Why didn't my bus arrive at the time shown in TripView?

Was real-time data available for this bus? If the bus didn't provide any real-time GPS data, TripView will show Real-time data unavailable and revert to showing the scheduled time, as per the timetable.

This often means that the bus has been cancelled, but it's possible that it could still be running and not providing real-time data for a different reason (e.g. due to an equipment fault on the bus).

If the bus operator reports the service as cancelled, TripView will show it with a red Cancelled status. If the bus operator doesn't report the service as cancelled and real-time data is unavailable, there's no way to know for sure whether it will turn up or not.

Another thing to look out for is a Last Reported status.

If your bus was providing real-time data but it was incorrect, please get in touch. We keep logs of the GPS data from all buses for at least 24 hours, so if you can give us enough information to identify the bus (i.e. the bus stop, route number, and exact time of the bus) we'll be able to investigate. A screenshot would also be very helpful if you have a chance to take one.
